Our Anniversary Function on 28 November and Open Day on 29 November were a great success. On the Friday, together with Unitron, Elektra 21 and Technotron, we entertained three hundred invited guests at our symposium in the Ledeltheater with a viewing of the video 'Technical Cooking' and fascinating talks by Herman Wijffels and Michel van Bremen. In the afternoon there was lunch and company visits, and in the evening a network reception.

Hydrauvision, Unitron, Elektra 21 and Technotron, celebrating 35, 20, 10 years and a 'kick-off' respectively, can look back on two very successful events - with the Open Day on Saturday a grand finale that attracted close to two thousand visitors

From 10 am shuttle buses ran to and from the various company sites in the Technopark and in IJzendijke. Visitors admired impressive examples of innovative technology, including hydraulic controls for dredge heads, control systems for wind turbines, home automation systems and sophisticated medical equipment. The anniversary video 'Technical Cooking' was shown on a huge screen. The comment heard most often was: "We didn't know this was all here so close to home; what excellent companies!" Many people had a very interesting day out, with a lot to see, refreshments and music everywhere, and a great atmosphere.
